Book review: Butcher & Blackbird by Brynne Weaver

Butcher & Blackbird (The Ruinous Love Trilogy, #1)Butcher & Blackbird by Brynne Weaver

Not something I was hoping to get. No long lasting impact in the story. Just a lot of fluff and gore. I guess I am not the demographic target for this book.

I liked Julian better. The only person I have been looking forward to reading more about was Jacks and he has such less mentions, or maybe not enough for me to be involved. Tella and I couldn’t relate. She’s just too spoilt for me to root for.
And Dante? Seriously.

I started this after reading the once upon a broken heart series. I was scared that this might not be as good as the OUABH but it was good. The writing style and details and the way the author describes things and feelings. Colours and smells. It’s always right amount of detail. I loved the story of Crimson girl.

Book review: The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren

The Soulmate EquationThe Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The book was relatable in the context of how hopeless life sometimes feels on the romantic front when you have too many responsibilities and too little time. More on the front that dating truly is more exhausting than anything else.
The vibe on the intimacy front was a bit flat. The brooding man was nice but somehow things weren’t that gripping. Data and science were nice learning experiences, and they were different stuff for me.
Other than that I guess 3.5 stars from me. Also,
TELL ME THEIR SCORE!!!
